This blog can be considered as the continuation of the blogs where I explained Roadmap of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) for delivering business value.

Here the focus is on the process and somewhat system architecture as how it starts when you work on a Central Finance projects and when different stages of transformation are arriving how you can plan to get the value out of investment and accordingly the process & system architecture changes.

In the below images you will see a mix of process & system architecture so that this can be used by technology as well as business background readers.

When Replication starts, it is important to ensure that data quality is good. Further this data can be used for reporting in sustain phase. Here you notice that reporting is executing in Central System as well as focus is on reducing the errors by root cause analysis & process mining.

Now, in run stage we can plan to execute transactions from Central System. Here you can see the processes are reducing in ECC and are moving towards Central system.

This explains how you can start and move towards the architecture planning. This will help you to design business and technology architecture.

Hope it helps in understanding the complex but interesting architecture of Central Finance.
