- Operational chart of account
- Group chart of account
- Country specific chart of account
What is operational chart of accounts? How to use
- The operational chart of accounts called as the primary chart of accounts. It can be called as primary general ledgers accounts.
- The operational chart of account general ledgers only integrated with logistics modules for example MM & SD and also controlling module.
- All the data entry will posted directly only against the operational chart of account G/L accounts.
- Operational chart of accounts is required to record the day to day financial transactions
What is group chart of accounts? How to use
- The purpose of the group chart of account is for consolidation purpose.
- The general ledgers accounts under the group chart of account can be called as group general ledgers accounts.
- Not possible to post the data entry directly against the group general ledger account.
- The group general ledger account it collects the data from the primary general ledger by integrated/mapping the group general ledger a/c with primary general ledger a/c.
- One group general ledger account can be assigned to multiple primary general ledgers account.
What is country specific chart of accounts? How to use
- Country specific chart of account can be used to address the requirement of specific country legal requirements.
- The country specific chart of account especially used where the country legal requirements that need to follow the general ledger codifications according to country specific legal requirements.
- The country specific chart of accounts can be called as alternative general ledger accounts OR country specific general ledger accounts OR add on chart of accounts OR local char of accounts.
- Country specific chart of account general ledger it collects the data from the primary general ledger account by mapping the country specific general ledger account to the primary general ledger account.
- Group chart of account linked to the operational chart of account.
- Operational chart of account linked to the company code.
- Country specific chart of account which is linked to the company code.
